French club Paris St Germain are being linked with Cameroon national football team player Samuel Eto’o, who is currently playing for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 31-year-old striker is regarded as one of the best players in the world, but he has not had the chance to compete at the top level in the last few seasons due to his current club Anzhi Makhachkala.
He is currently the best paid player in the world and he reportedly earns around £ 320,000 per week. However, it is thought that he would love to return to a top European club in the summer in order to compete in the Champions League on a regular basis.
The Cameroon striker is one of the celebrated in world football after having won every possible major trophy with Barcelona and Inter Milan in the last decade or so.
Samuel Eto’o has the likes of three Champions League winners medal, three la Liga titles, one Italian Serie A title, and one Club World Cup title. However, he is still desperate to play at the top level according to reports. French club Paris St Germain who have been spending a lot of money in the last two transfer windows ever since being taken over by Qatari owners are linked with a move to the striker.
The French club narrowly missed out on the opportunity to win the league title this season after having been overtaken by Montpelier to the glory.
However, they are expected to challenge for both the French league title and the Champions League next season. They are already extremely close to signing Real Madrid midfielder Kaka. PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti is widely known to be the best when it comes to getting the best out of Kaka after having previously worked with him at AC Milan.
