Championship club Stoke City have confirmed that they have tied down Cameron goalkeeper Blondy Nna Noukeu to a new long-term deal amid reports that he may be linking up with the first-team anytime soon at a later time this season. The brilliant keeper has been a mainstay of the club's under-23 team this season and keeps putting in impressive performances that have earned him a lot of accolades and praises so far this term. He has also earned himself a new contract and has signed on the dotted lines and will be looking to take his career to a new level since joining Stoke from Belgian league club Royal Excel Mouscron back in the summer transfer window of 2019. The 19-year-old was promoted to the first-team this season and has made it to the bench on several occasions. He however faces the huge task of competing with Joe Bursik and Adam Davies for the gloves at the club.

Even though both teams have made it clear that they are ready to head into the fixture and play the match, the Tokyo 2020 Women's Olympic Qualifiers game against Cameroon and Chile has been postponed once again after the decision was made by the world football governing body. The competition has now been pushed further forward to April later this year, without paying attention to the readiness of the teams involved. The intercontinental play-off which is to be played over two legs between Cameroon's Indomitable Lionesses and LA Roja Feminina of Chile will now be played at a date later than the initially designated time. According to multiple reports, the world football governing body FIFA already passed message across to the participating teams that their games would be postponed. The games that were postponed include the final round of the competition which Chile and Cameroon were supposed to play on the 18th of February this year.
The Young Lions of Cameroon have done well to secure their qualification to the U20 UNIFAC 2020 competition finals. They achieved this feat after Congo completed a well-deserved and hard-fought victory over DR Congo 2-1 on Saturday in the final game in Group B. The youngsters have impressed throughout the games they have played in and have now cemented their status as the competition's finalists of the UNIFAC tournament that is currently ongoing.

Philadelphia Union defender Olivier Mbaizo has been invited to be part of the Cameroon squad for the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers for this month. The right-back has been rewarded for his good club form with the call-up ahead of the upcoming clashes with Mozambique. Cameroon play hosts to Mozambique in what’s the third game of the ongoing AFCON qualifiers on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The return leg is scheduled for the Estadio Nacionaldo Zimpeto in Maputo, Mozambique on Monday, November 16, 2020. Mbaizo would be hoping to feature in the two AFCON qualifying games.
