Your attitude to betting on the Bundesliga this year might be coloured by the fact that there are two clear favourites which are the inimitable champions. Bayern Munich and their major challengers Borussia Dortmund. Just as the Premier League tends to be dominated by just a two or three teams, the Bundesliga, is dominated by these two, though historically the most dominant team of all is Bayern Munich.
As you might expect, the odds on these two teams are very short. Bayern Munich is priced at around 2/5 on, and although the odds on Borussia Dortmund are somewhat longer at 15/4, the odds on all the other teams are between around 26/1 and 1500/1.
Although betting at 2/5 on is not a very attractive prospect, 15/4 is just about reasonable and could be a value bet at this stage of the season. But if you enjoy a bit of fun, why not bet on one of the other teams? The casino type odds are much better than you will get at a game of roulette, and the chances of winning your bet might be substantially higher. A good tip might be VfL Wolfsburg, the 2009 champions which are currently priced at 50/1, definitely worth a small stake.
Let’s hope that you hit the Bundesliga jackpot this year, though while you are deciding on your bets why not take your mind of things with a visit to an online casino? A big hit at the moment is the slot game called “Game On”.
This is an excellent example of the retro fruit machine pub style slots that are proving to be popular, at least amongst those of us who enjoy some fun without risking too much money. It is a classic fruit machine with a football theme added on. For instance there are footballs and boots scattered amongst the more traditional fruits. There are some great bonus features too and of course nudge and hold, this is how it used to be back in the good old days.
