Cameroon caretaker manager Jean Paul Akono has revealed that he will not be applying for the position of a permanent manager. The Cameroon FA are currently searching for a permanent replacement for Denis Lavagne, was sacked in September.
Cameroon have had to deal with a lot of issues both politically and on the pitch. It is thought that this could be one of the reasons for Akono's refusal to apply for a permanent job. That have also been suggestions that the wage demands of the $ 30,000 per month by the manager has also been a stumbling block.
